33. Int. Berner Turnier

Das Fechten findet in der Mehrzweckhalle der Kaserne Bern statt. Jeder ficht gegen jeden. Wer 70% aller möglichen Siege erzielt, erhält 250 Wertungspunkte. Im Final mit 36 Athleten ergeben somit 25 Siege ein Total von 250 Punkten. Für jeden zusätzlichen Sieg gibt es weitere 6 Punkte, für jede Niederlage werden 6 Punkte abgezogen.

Fencing will take place in the multi-purpose hall of the Kaserne in Bern. Each athlete fences every other competitor. The competitor achieving 70 % of all wins will gain 250 points. To illustrate this: in a final with 36 athletes, 25 wins will generate 250 points. For every additional win the athlete gains another 6 points, for each defeat 6 points will be deducted. 

Das Schwimmen wird im Hallenbad Wyler (oder allenfalls Weyermannshaus) in einem 25 m Pool ausgetragen. Bei den Einzelwettkämpfen wird jeweils eine Distanz von 200 m geschwommen. Eine Zeit von 2 Minuten 30 Sekunden ergibt 250 Wertungspunkte, jede halbe Sekunde mehr oder weniger ergibt einen Punkt mehr oder weniger.

Swimming will take place in the 25 meter indoor pool Wyler or Weyermannshaus. During the individual competitions, the athletes swim 200 m. A target time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds will result in 250 points, for every  0.5 seconds more or less, 1 point will be deducted or added respectively.  

Das Reiten findet auf dem Areal des Nationalen Pferdezentrums (NPZ) statt. Die Pferde werden vom Veranstalter gestellt und den Athletinnen und Athleten zugelost. Nach 20 Minuten einreiten und maximal fünf Probesprüngen erfolgt der Start des Parcours. Dieser geht über insgesamt 12 Sprünge, wovon eine Zweifach- und eine Dreifachkombination. Die vorgegebene Geschwindigkeit beträgt 375 m pro Minute. Wer den Parcours in der Zeit und ohne Abwurf absolviert erhält 300 Wertungspunkte. Zeitüberschreitung (-1 Punkt pro Sekunde), Hindernisabwurf (-7 Punkte), Refus (-10 Punkte) und Sturz (-10 Punkte) geben entsprechende Abzüge. Auch eine Disqualifikation ist möglich, je nach Vorfall.

The horse riding will take place at the National Horse Center NPZ. The horses will be provided by the organisers and allocated by draw to the athletes. The competitors get 20 minutes warm-up time and a maximum of 5 practice jumps before the start of their round. The round is over a total of 12 jumps and includes a double and a triple jump. To gain the maximum of 300 points, the competitors have to achieve a speed of at least 375 m per minute for the round, without any refusals or obstacles being knocked down. Time faults (1 point per second), knocking down obstacles (7 points), refusals (10 points) and falls (10 points) all lead to deduction. A rider can also be disqualified, depending on incident. 

Der Laser-Run setzt sich aus dem Geländelauf (4 x 800 m) und dem Schiessen mit Laserpistole (4 x 5 Treffer) zusammen und ist jeweils der Abschluss des Wettkampfes. Dieser Event findet auf der Fahnenwiese der Kaserne Bern statt. Nach den drei vorgängig genannten Disziplinen (Schwimmen, Fechten, Reiten) werden die Punkte zusammengezählt und die Abstände in die entsprechende Zeitdifferenz umgerechnet. Gestartet wird dann im Handicap. D.h. der/die Führende nach drei Disziplinen startet als Erste/r in den Laser-Run. Wer zuerst über die Ziellinie läuft, hat den gesamten Wettkampf gewonnen. Dieser Modus verspricht Spannung pur bis zum Schluss – für die Teilnehmenden wie auch für das Publikum.

The laser run is composed of a cross country run (4x800 m) und the shooting with a laser pistol (4 x 5 hits on the valid target zone) and is the culmination of the competition. This event will take place on the Fahnenwiese (meadow) of the Kaserne Bern.  After the preceding three disciplines (swimming, fencing and horse riding) the points are added and their differences are translated into time intervals. The run is then organised with a handicapped start. The competitor in the lead will start first for the laser run. The first athlete crossing the line has won the overall competition. This form of the run promises pure suspense to the end, for participants and spectators.
